My third Meatless Monday went alright.
I didn’t eat any meat, but I didn’t eat anything super healthy or
new. For breakfast, I had to hardboiled
eggs with almond milk. For lunch I had a
slice of white pizza and around 2 I ate a half of a peanut butter and jelly
sandwich. Dinner was macaroni and
cheese, sliced potatoes with onions, and corn.
I drank mostly water, grape juice, and almond milk. For snacks, I had frozen fruit, pretzels and
cheese throughout the day. I also had
some cookies.
This week was a
little harder because I forgot about Meatless Monday until I woke up. My family ate turkey for dinner so I missed
out on that. I was still hungry after I
ate the white pizza so I had the sandwich, which filled me up. My Meatless Monday only affected my mom
because she made the macaroni and cheese for me. Meatless Monday will not affect the rest of
this week’s meals. I did not spend any
more or any less on this week because I ate what I had at home.
Overall, this week
was fine. I had enough to eat and stayed
meatless. Next week, I’m going to try
and plan better so I can eat more exciting food.

ReplyDeleteI really like what you had for meatless Monday! I've only had white pizza once and it was pretty tasty. I completely forgot about white pizza existing and now whenever I'm craving for pizza, I'll be sure to get some! Also, your dinner looks delicious! I think I just really enjoy simple dishes so I think your dinner would be a perfect dinner for me if I have time to make it. I also didn't have an exciting meatless Monday this week so I'm hoping I'll get the chance to try something new next week! Best of luck to you!
